We have actively listened to the community’s feedback as we considered suitable and well-located workers accommodation to support the workforce needed for the Lake Lyell Pumped Hydro Project.
Initially, the lakeside site at Magpie Hollow Road was proposed in 2024 as our preferred location, with the former Pottery Estate later identified in 2025 as an alternative option.
Importantly, we have engaged closely with residents, the broader community, and key stakeholders to understand their concerns and priorities, helping to shape the design and operation of the accommodation to help minimise any adverse effects.
