It’s important that councils get the resources they need to keep roads in good shape during and after construction.
Make roads safer for everyone
Locals want road upgrades that take into account pedestrians, cyclists, and all kinds of drivers.
Keep young and learner drivers safe
There’s real concern about road safety for younger people, and requests for extra measures to improve their safety
Minimise disruption while work’s happening
The community expects to be kept informed and for traffic changes to be managed so construction doesn’t cause too much inconvenience.
