We want to ensure they are provided with fair and reasonable supports to manage the changes presented by the project to their properties and livelihoods.

Neighbour agreements will be delivered in a two-stage process.

Stage 1 is a resilience and readiness agreement providing health and wellbeing support on offer from April 2025.

Stage 2 is an impact agreement offered when the Environmental Impact Statement is available on exhibition.

If you own private property near project site, you may be eligible for a neighbour agreement.

Since 2023 we have been engaging with neighbours with more than 100 conversations informing the development of the neighbour agreement process and financial offerings and supports.

The neighbour agreement process is outlined in the Neighbour Agreement Guide released in March 2025.

Neighbour agreements are commonplace for significant infrastructure and voluntary.

They can provide a sense of certainty and a plan for people to manage the changes presented by the project.
