Body

EnergyAustralia and EDF power solutions Australia have formally lodged the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Lake Lyell Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project (the Project) with the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). DPHI will now undertake a review of the EIS before placing it on public exhibition. Once the EIS is on public exhibition, the community and stakeholders can view the EIS on the NSW Planning Portal and make a submission to DPHI.

We will be out and about in the Lithgow region during the exhibition period and will be available to answer questions about the EIS, show people how to navigate it and explain how to make a submission.

For more information about the EIS process take a look at this factsheet we prepared last year.
